Michelle Delieu - Principle Teacher
I started dancing at the age of two at Carlova dance studios in Preston taking classes in Ballet, Tap, Disco, Stage, Jazz, Pointe and Drama. At the age of fourteen, I discovered my passion for teaching after I started helping out at Carlova as part of my Duke of Edinburgh award. Once my Duke of Edinburgh award was complete I continued to help which eventually led me to become a teaching assistant and later dance teacher. After I completed my degree in biology from the University of Sussex I moved to Shropshire where my parents had already relocated. I was asked by an old friend if I would consider arranging a dance class where her three children could attend. I decided to organise some new classes around being my nanna's full time carer, This was the start of Love 2 dance.
It's amazing to have a job I love. I'm so proud of all my students. It's very rewarding to see how much they grow in confidence and ability. I definitely have the best job in the world.
